Another Avenged song I hadn’t put on in forever. I Won’t See You Tonight Part 2.
Heard it again and remembered why I like this band so much. Holy shit. What a song.
When Shadows starts screaming on “I can see just fine, with you in my life”… that part. Gives me chills. Super energetic. Aggressive.
Completely different from Part 1. That one’s melodic and sentimental the whole way through. You almost forget Part 1 exists while you’re in this one.
Then out of nowhere. “Sorrow sank deep inside my blood.” Same line from Part 1. Hits different here.
What a track.
I recommend this band to everyone who knows me. Hyperfocus. Part of my personality at this point. Still owns my rock playlist.
